A ridiculous amount of coffee was consumed in the process of building this project. Add some fuel if you'd like to keep me going!
Young One is back! I haven’t heard Young One lately until he dropped his new track titled “Makasalanan Man Kami“. The last time I heard him was with the collaboration with Nathan J in the song “Hoy Pare (Remix)“.
Young One – Batang Lansangan
For those of you who didn’t know, Young One was one of the most-talented and most-respected underground rappers in the South (of Metro Manila) particularly in Paranaque-Las Pinas area where South Production is based. His song “Batang Lansangan” featuring J-Dee, P-Jay, MC Mike, Deschnitz and “Batas Lansangan” featuring Yumi really leaves a mark in my memory.
I would describe his lyrical style as a street-styled realist who often incorporate real-life situation and life experience in most of his songs which people can relate especially those who grew up in the streets.
Makasalanan Man Kami
“Makasalanan Man Kami” is a song which reflects the life of a Hustler in the streets. They do things to earn and survive in the life in the streets; often judged by others and criticize by many, but at the end of the day, God is the only one who can judge us.
